Privacy Policy

Short version

ToolPetal is a static, client-side utility site. When you use a calculator or converter, the inputs and results stay in your browser session for that page. We do not run an application server that receives, saves, or profiles your SIP amounts, salary figures, cash flows, or pasted schema text for ToolPetal’s own purposes. The optional URL checks described below are the one place a request goes through ToolPetal’s server, and nothing from them is stored.

What we do not collect for tools

There are no ToolPetal user accounts. There is no ToolPetal upload API for calculator worksheets. Finance and developer tools perform math and transforms in JavaScript on your device. If you close the tab, those transient values are gone unless you copy them yourself.

URL checks

The robots.txt tester, schema markup validator, and Open Graph generator have an optional mode that checks a live URL. When you use it, the URL you type is sent to a ToolPetal function on Cloudflare, which fetches that public page and returns it to your browser. The fetched content and the URL are not stored or logged by ToolPetal. To limit abuse, a counter keyed to your IP address is kept in Cloudflare's cache for about a minute and then expires. Pasted text in every tool still stays in your browser.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) to deliver pages, apply security rules, and operate the CDN. That processing is part of hosting, not ToolPetal reading your calculator fields.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some commercial tool pages may display ads through Google AdSense. On those pages, Google may set cookies or use similar technologies and collect data according to Google’s own policies in order to show and measure ads. Trust pages (About, Privacy, Contact, Disclaimer) are kept free of commercial ad slots.

Analytics and other third parties

Aside from hosting and optional ads on commercial pages, ToolPetal does not sell personal data. We do not operate a separate marketing profile database of calculator users. If additional third-party scripts are added later, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Cookies

Essential hosting and security cookies may be set by Cloudflare. Ad-related cookies may be set by Google on commercial pages that load AdSense. ToolPetal itself does not require a login cookie for tools to work.

Children

ToolPetal is a general-purpose utility site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a ToolPetal account system: because we do not offer accounts.
