JSON-LD Schema Generator

By Cobra · Last updated

Pick a type, fill required fields

Modes cover FAQPage, Organization, Article, and BreadcrumbList. Empty optional fields are omitted from the JSON so you do not publish null noise. Absolute URLs belong in url / logo / item list entries.

Validate before ship

Paste output into the schema markup validator for local checks, then verify on the live page. One <script type="application/ld+json"> per block is easier to debug than a giant graph you never open.

Worked example: BreadcrumbList for a tool page

For a page at https://example.com/tools/sip-calculator, choose BreadcrumbList and add three items: Home (https://example.com/), Tools (https://example.com/tools), and SIP calculator (https://example.com/tools/sip-calculator). The generator numbers position 1, 2, 3 in order. Paste the script into the page head or body, and make sure a visible breadcrumb trail with the same labels exists on the page.

FAQ

Which schema types does this generator support?

It builds JSON-LD for FAQPage, Organization, Article, and BreadcrumbList. Each type has its own fields. Switch the type dropdown to change the form.

Is this a replacement for Google's Rich Results Test?

No. This tool only builds the markup. After you paste it on a live URL, validate it with Google's Rich Results Test or Schema Markup Validator.

Should I combine several schema types on one page?

You can output more than one JSON-LD block, or an @graph, if each type describes real content on the page. Do not mark up entities that are not visible.

Does Organization markup require a logo?

A logo URL is recommended for knowledge panel eligibility. Use an absolute HTTPS URL pointing to a widely supported image format such as PNG or JPG.

Where should the JSON-LD script go, head or body?

Either works. Google reads JSON-LD in the head or the body. Head is common for templates; body is fine when a CMS only lets you edit page content.

Does the order of properties in JSON-LD matter?

No. JSON object keys are unordered. Only the values and nesting matter. List order does matter for BreadcrumbList items, which is why each item has an explicit position.
